Upstate Diving A Complete Diving ProgramUpstate New York Diving offers a year-round instructional diving program for all levels of springboard divers from Learn to Dive (Sparks) to Elite level training. Highly experienced coaches safely instruct divers in fun and motivating sessions. Competitive opportunities are available to all divers from beginners to national level. We have everything you need to excel in the sport of springboard diving! 2007 - 2011 Niagara District Champions Important Updates What About Weather Related Closings? Please check the school websites first. In the event the weather forces RIT, MCC, or any of the other diving facilities we operate, to close you will be able to check the school website for closing information. If the school is open, then we will hold practice. If it is closed we will make every attempt to post the closing on this website and call/text the divers to let them know about the closing. January Blue Wave Invitational Meet Information Upstate Diving Adds High School and Youth Lessons to its Program Offerings Diving Groups Competition Team Policy Form Recruiting Youth Divers Upstate Diving is building for the future. We are searching for divers ages 6-12 years old for our learn to dive program. Diving offers a safe, fun sport for boys and girls that show talent in gymnastics, tumbling or trampoline. Diving is a low impact, long term sport that can be enjoyed far past the teen years with scholarship potential at the Collegiate level. Upstate NY Diving Parents Manual FINA Competition Age-groups and Rules Advancement List Advancement List The new advancement schedule lists all the skills and dives necessary to advance from the beginner level to the National Level. Upstate Diver Scott Lazeroff Wins USA Diving Age Group Nationals in Knoxville TN Scott held off second place diver Nash Nickerson scorng 53.20 points in the last round to win his first Age Group championship. He joins Dhruv Tyagi, Ashley Broderick, and Alyssa Menz as National Champions from Upstate NY Diving. Emergency Closing Notifications If there is a winter storm, or some other closing, Upstate Diving will be closed in accordance with the school that is is the host of that practice. For example If RIT is closed there will be no Upstate Diving practice at RIT, but all other facilities would practice if they are open. If there is a closing it will be listed on this website as soon as we are notified of the closing. June 2011 Session Registration Registration for June 2011 is now open. Parents should register their divers early to reserve their spot in this session. All registrations are done at the pool. Please go to the sign up page to register for the Session. Classes are available for beginners (Sparks), intermediate and advanced divers. Please check on the sign up page for additional practice times. Private and Semi-Private Lessons Available Divers who would like to get individual or small group (2-4 divers) instruction may now sign up with any one of the coaching staff. Diving or trampoline time may be scheduled. Fees are $80 per hour. Schedule your lesson with Cliff at 224-5130.

We are also active in the support of the diving community in Western New York by participating in the largest competitive diving program in US, AAU Diving.
