| This group is for new beginner divers. This Learn to Dive Class has a fairly extensive curriculum that is much more involved than the Red Cross Learn to Dive Class. We teach front approaches, takeoffs, forward and back dives only after teaching stretching, entry drills and many other positional skills. In addition there are many fun drills that the divers learn. Generally a child will attend the sparks group unless the child has previous competitive experience. There are three levels of instruction within the sparks group. After successful demonstration of all the level I required skills, the diver will be approved to move to the next level. Sparks divers are allowed to compete at the novice level. After all three level requirements are completed and generally one competition has been attended, the diver will be cleared to move up to the Fire Group. Level I Diving Fees: $45 per session Time: 1 practice per week for 5 weeks Session: 5 weeks Level II Diving Fees: $75 Time: Tues 6:00-7:15 pm or Thurs 6:00-7:15 pm Session: 1 practice per week for 5 weeks Level III Diving Fees: $95 Times: Tues 6:00-7:15 pm and Thurs 6:00-7:15 pm Session: 2 practices per week for 5 weeks
