Upstate New York Diving offers a year-round instructional diving program for all levels of springboard divers from Learn to Dive (Sparks) to Elite level training. Highly experienced coaches safely instruct divers in fun and motivating sessions. Competitive opportunities are available to all divers from beginners to national level. Upstate Diving is building for the future. We are searching for divers ages 6-12 years old for our learn to dive program. Diving offers a safe, fun sport for boys and girls that show talent in gymnastics, tumbling or trampoline. Diving is a low impact, long term sport that can be enjoyed far past the teen years with scholarship potential at the Collegiate level. The new advancement schedule lists all the skills and dives necessary to advance from the beginner level to the National Level.

Upstate Diver Scott Lazeroff Wins USA Diving Age Group Nationals in Knoxville TN

Scott held off second place diver Nash Nickerson scorng 53.20 points in the last round to win his first Age Group championship. He joins Dhruv Tyagi, Ashley Broderick, and Alyssa Menz as National Champions from Upstate NY Diving.

Emergency Closing Notifications

If there is a winter storm, or some other closing, Upstate Diving will be closed in accordance with the school that is is the host of that practice. For example If RIT is closed there will be no Upstate Diving practice at RIT, but all other facilities would practice if they are open. If there is a closing it will be listed on this website as soon as we are notified of the closing.

Private and Semi-Private Lessons Available

Divers who would like to get individual or small group (2-4 divers) instruction may now sign up with any one of the coaching staff. Diving or trampoline time may be scheduled. Fees are $80 per hour. Schedule your lesson with Cliff at 224-5130.
